Terms of service.

Effective 5 August 2026 · version 2026-08-05

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "your", or the "user") and Chantry Leads Ltd ("Chantry", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of chantryleads.com and the Chantry platform (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, starting a free trial, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Chantry is

Chantry is a market intelligence and execution platform for local businesses. It tracks how businesses appear when consumers ask AI assistants for local recommendations, surfaces gaps against competitors, and, on paid Autopilot plans, executes fixes such as answer page generation and review-ask orchestration through an automated agent.

The set of AI assistants Chantry actively queries changes as engines become available to us and as we are able to query them with live web access. We publish the current list in the product, and we only ever report a result from an assistant we actually asked. We do not claim coverage of an assistant we are not querying.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use the Service.
  • You must provide accurate, current information when you register and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of any business information, pricing, or content you submit to Chantry for use in scans, reports, or automated actions.

3. Plans, billing, and free trial

  • Chantry offers a free scan with no account required, an Insights plan at $49/month CAD, and an Autopilot plan at $199/month CAD.
  • Paid plans include a 7-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start a trial.
  • Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your card will be charged automatically at the start of the next billing period and each period after that until you cancel.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically and bill in advance on a monthly basis. Prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include applicable taxes, which will be added at checkout where required.
  • You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period unless required by law.
  • We may change our pricing with notice posted to the Service or sent to your account email. Changes take effect at your next renewal.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Chantry does not store your full payment card details.

4. No guarantee of results

Chantry measures AI visibility, surfaces competitive gaps, and, on Autopilot plans, takes automated action intended to improve how AI engines describe and recommend your business. We do not guarantee any specific outcome, ranking, score, mention rate, increase in leads, revenue, or other result from using the Service. The AI assistants we query are operated by third parties outside our control, change their behaviour without notice, and may name or omit any business for reasons unrelated to anything Chantry does. The Service is not sold with any guarantee that your visibility score will improve, and no refund is owed on the basis of results.

5. Accuracy of data, scores, and narrative content

Chantry's scans, scores, leaderboards, competitor comparisons, gap findings, and any other narrative, descriptive, or evaluative content generated by the Service (collectively, "Platform Content") are produced using automated tools, third-party data sources, and outputs from third-party AI models. Platform Content is provided "as is" and "as available", for informational purposes only.

  • We do not warrant that any score, rank, quote, competitor claim, or other Platform Content is complete, accurate, current, or free of error.
  • AI-generated summaries, quotes, or descriptions attributed to third-party AI engines may not exactly reflect what those engines would say if queried again, and may be affected by prompt variation, model updates, or randomness in the underlying AI system.
  • Chantry is not responsible for, and disclaims all liability arising from, any narrative, description, comparison, or characterization of your business, a competitor's business, or any other person or entity that appears anywhere on the Service, including in scan results, reports, dashboards, public leaderboard pages, or emails generated by the Service.
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing any content before relying on it, publishing it, or acting on it, including anything Autopilot proposes for your website or your business listings.

6. Autopilot and automated actions

  • On the Autopilot plan, Chantry's agent may take automated actions intended to improve your AI visibility, such as building answer pages on your own website, drafting posts and review requests, and preparing corrections to your business listings.
  • Where Chantry has a verified write connection to a property you control, such as your own website through our edge connection or a paired WordPress plugin, approved changes are published to that property directly.
  • Where Chantry does not have a write connection, including on third-party directories and, at present, Google Business Profile, Chantry prepares the change and you publish it. We tell you which of these applies in the product rather than implying we act everywhere.
  • Actions that are public-facing require your approval through the Service before they go live, except for changes we classify as low-risk, which may apply automatically as described in the product.
  • You are responsible for reviewing queued actions and for anything that is published using your accounts or credentials, whether or not you personally clicked approve.
  • You are responsible for maintaining your own connections and permissions that Autopilot needs to function, and for revoking them if you no longer want Chantry to act on your behalf.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent business information.
  • Use the Service to interfere with, scrape, or misuse another business's listing, reviews, or profile without authorization.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or white-label the Service without our written permission.
  • Use the Service in a way that violates any applicable law or the terms of any third-party platform Chantry connects to.
  • Interfere with or attempt to disrupt the Service, its infrastructure, or other users' access to it.

8. Intellectual property and public pages

  • Chantry and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including its software, design, scoring methodology, and branding. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service.
  • You retain ownership of the business content you submit to Chantry. You grant Chantry a licence to use, process, and display that content as needed to operate the Service, including generating scans, reports, and, on Autopilot, published content on your behalf.
  • Public leaderboard pages may display business names, categories, and AI visibility findings for businesses in a scanned neighbourhood, whether or not that business is a Chantry customer, based on publicly available business information and the same measurement methodology used for paying customers.

If your business appears on a public page and you would like it removed, you can ask us directly and we will action reasonable requests. Write to hello@chantryleads.com with the business name and where you saw it, or use the removal link on the page itself. We aim to respond within five business days. You do not need to be a customer, and you do not need to explain why.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on and integrates with third-party providers, including AI platforms, Google (Business Profile, Places, OAuth), Stripe, and others. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of these third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms and policies.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defect will be corrected.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chantry and its directors, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from or related to your use of the Service, including reliance on any Platform Content, score, competitor comparison, or automated action taken by Autopilot. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to Chantry in the three months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or damages, so some of the above limits may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Chantry harmless from any claim, loss, or damage, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit that infringes or misrepresents another party.

13. Termination

  • You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or fail to pay applicable fees.
  • Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination, including Sections 4, 5, 10, 11, and 12, will survive.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Each version carries a version stamp, shown at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on the Service, update the version and effective date, and record your acceptance of the new version. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario.

16. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to hello@chantryleads.com.
